If stalking trophy size redfish in water barely deep enough to cover their backs is your idea of exciting fishing, you've got to come fish the waters around Georgia barrier islands which offer anglers incredible fishing year round. Because of the large tidal movement in this area fishing around Full and New moons is awesome. The tides which move as much as 10 feet will generally flood far into the grass flats allowing redfish to move in on prey which is not normally accessible to them. This also allows for phenomenal sight fishing at tailing reds.
Climb aboard a new Waterman flats skiff by Gordon Boat Works and experience some of Georgias premier shallow water sight fishing. Only an hour from Jacksonville or Savannah The Golden Isles is home to some of the best redfish fishing in the state. Capt. Scott provides fishing along the entire coast of Georgia including Tybee Island, Wassaw Island, Ossabaw Island, St. Catherines Island, Sapelo Island, Sea Island, St. Simons Island, Little St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, and Cumberland Island. Fly fishing and Light tackle fishing available.
Other species along Georgias barrier island include trout, black drum, jacks, flounder, sharks, bull reds, stripers, Spanish, and tarpon (seasonal). All of these exciting game fish can be taken on spin, plug, or fly. All charters are provided with top of the line tackle, ice, water, licenses, and bait/flies for your target species.
